This policy explains what personal data AcademyOS handles, why, and who it is shared with. AcademyOS is software that academies use to run their classes. Each academy decides what it records about its students, parents and staff; we process that data on the academy's behalf.
What we collect
- Academy owners and staff: name, email, phone number, and what they do in the admin panel.
- Students and parents, as entered by their academy: names, phone numbers, email addresses, courses, attendance, class notes, homework, progress and fee records.
- Visitors to our websites: what you type into our forms (for example a Google Maps link), and basic technical information such as your IP address, used to prevent abuse.
How we use it
- To run each academy's admin panel, apps and website, and to send login codes and messages the academy asks us to send.
- To write a first draft of an academy's website from its public Google listing and public web pages.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and improve it.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use one academy's data for another academy.
Who processes it for us
We use these providers to run AcademyOS: Supabase (database, logins and file storage), Cloudflare (websites and web addresses), Google (Maps place details and email), Anthropic (the AI that drafts website text, matches spreadsheet columns and handles requests made by asking), and GitHub (software builds). They process data only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep an academy's data while it uses AcademyOS. When an academy is removed, its data is deleted from our systems, apart from what we must keep by law.
Your choices
Students and parents should contact their academy first to see, correct or delete their data; the academy can do this in its admin panel. You can also write to us at info@lahotilabs.com, and we will respond within 30 days.
